Choir or Solo
Whether it's a choir of youngsters at school, or local community, Church or Chapel Choir, so much time is wasted learning notes during rehearsal. Some members, of course, can read the music but, it has to be admitted most, or many, do not. It doesn’t make them any less valuable to the choir but it takes them longer to learn their parts. What if all choir members could learn their parts at home in the days between rehearsals? How much more enjoyable would that be? And how much more time could conductors spend developing the performance they want?
eto singing practice apps can help achieve all this. So easy and convenient to use on your smart phones or tablets. The demo videos will show you how each individual part is displayed and how you can easily play all the way through the piece, or choose a section to repeat. You can sing along with a recording of your part or just hear a piano / instrument version if you prefer. We are expanding our catalogue and would be happy to receive your suggestions of pieces and songs to include whatever the style of genre, solo or ensemble
Kumbaya - for Young Choirs
Ideal for School and Community choirs, this arrangement in four parts is so enjoyable; both to sing and to listen to. This arrangement was included in the One Big Voice concert repertoire for 2017 on 18th August in Perth, Australia. Groups have been singing this 'communal' song since the 1920s ... , but never like this. Each of the parts add a new dimension; not to mention the atmospheric accompaniment. The melody is as we know it. Two harmony parts add rhythm and a third 'Descant harmony' is in a call and response style. "Schools are going to love it " was the immediate response of a very experienced member of the eto Music Practice team on first hearing the arrangement.
