Extra and Unique Piano Practice Tools
Our Entertainer App was described by the review site App Annie as "one of the best piano practice Apps we have seen. Well designed and many features". All the apps keep you company and give you the tools and discipline of being able to practise correct fingerings for either hand at the slowest of tempi. Practise one hand whilst the other is played for you, get faster when you are in control. Choose a section, or even a bar at a time. and repeat it …at any of the tempi. Very soon you will discover that you can customise your practice session to suit whatever you want or need to do.
The vital skill of reading music will naturally develop as you follow the Beat Counter which appears, perfectly synchronised, above the music notation. It acts as a conductor and shows you exactly "where you are" in the bar. Playing with the correct fingering at the slowest tempi as described above and demonstrated in the videos enables you to tackle pieces that might at first seem beyond your capability. The sense of satisfaction you will feel will encourage you to persevere and you will improve because you practise correctly.
Bach Two Part Invention No. 8
In 1723 the great Johann Sebastian Bach wrote his Two Part Inventions to help his pupils practise. Honest method, by which the amateurs of the keyboard – especially those desirous of learning – are shown a clear way. Learn to play cleanly in two parts. No one can therefore argue with the quality of the musical content but eto apps can really help more than paper in so many ways. The video shows how.
