The app is flexible and easy to use. Very soon you will discover that you can customise your practice session to suit what ever you want or need to do.

Here’s a short video to demonstrate some of the practice tools available in the app.

To start you off here are some suggestions.

1. Choose Tempo 30
2. Decide which hand you want to practise first and untick the checkbox of the other hand.
3. You will see the suggested fingering for each note
4. Choose which section you want to practise by entering a Start and End Bar.
5. Play along at this tempo which is slow enough for you to follow the suggested fingering.
6. Work our way through the Invention …you decide whether you want to increase the tempo at which you practise for each section or whether you want to practise the whole Invention at 30 and then move on to a faster tempo.
7. You need also decide when you start practising the other hand
8. Note that the fingerings appear only on Tempi 30 and 40.
9. eto feels that you should ‘master’ the fingering at these slow tempi before you move on. if the fingering was included at faster tempi you might be tempted to move on before you were truly ready.
10. At faster tempi the fingering might make the screen to cluttered and confusing.
11. You can use the faders to isolate either hand.
12. You can decide when practising one hand how much you want to hear the other hand.
13. Unticking a check box greys out a particular hand.
